If you have been diagnosed with Hypermobile Ehler-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), Hypermobile Spectrum Disorder (HSD) or you suspect you have these conditions, we would love to have you join us!

  • Who: Adults 18+ anywhere in Oregon with hEDS/HSD, maximum 10 members

  • Why: Meet others with similar struggles with illness and pain, share resources, and exchange support.

  • When: Weekly on Wednesdays at 5pm PST for 8 weeks; start date TBD

  • Duration: 75-90 minutes per meeting (tailored to needs of the group)

  • Cost: $60 per session; must commit to all sessions (sliding scale available)

  • Where: On Zoom

Facilitated by Meredith Noble, Professional Counselor Associate, and Christy Reichert, LCSW.

    Topics might include:

    • The overall emotional impact of having these conditions

    • Navigating the medical system / coping with gaslighting / self-advocacy

    • Medical burnout

    • Loneliness and other social impacts of being ill or in pain

    • Navigating employment while unwell, or needing to be unemployed

    • Disability justice

    • Preparing for an upcoming appointment

    • Or anything else that’s important to you!

  • We can help you decide if the group is a right fit for your needs. Meredith will be meeting with each prospective group member.
